STMA Cross County Runners Take Top Spots at Swain Meet
Coach Gregg Greeno about runner Chase Cayo: "The conditions were hurricane-like, but he just kept running better and better. It was the second-best boys' time in school history."

Neither rain or wind or “hurricane-like” conditions could stop two St. Michael-Albertville High School runners from coming out on top at the 62nd annual Swain Invitational Saturday, Oct. 5 in Duluth.
Junior Chase Cayo set a personal best and a first place victory in the Class 2A boys’ race with a 5K time of 15:54.7, according a Star Tribune report.
Freshman Lizzy Heil took first place in the Class 2A girls race with a 4K time of 15:14:2, according a Star Tribune report.
