US Dept of Edu Names DaVinci Academy of Arts & Science One of the Nation's Best Schools
The U.S. Secretary of Education announced that DaVinci Academy of Arts & Science has been named a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School.
US DEPT OF EDUCATION NAMES DAVINCI ACADEMY OF ARTS & SCIENCE ONE OF THE NATION’S BEST SCHOOLS
WASHINGTON D.C. -- U.S. Secretary of Education, John B. King, Jr., announced today that DaVinci Academy of Arts & Science has been named a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School for Exemplary High Performance.
“We are honored to be recognized for our years of hard work, and more importantly, the success of our students.” said DaVinci Academy Executive Director Debra Lach.
Out of a possible 2,000 schools in Minnesota, DaVinci Academy was nominated by the Minnesota Department of Education, and is one of five Minnesota schools that are receiving this award. Nationally, DaVinci Academy is one of 28 charter schools chosen for this award.
In November, DaVinci Academy will be recognized in an official ceremony in Washington D.C.
