Voters In Annandale School District Narrowly Vote Down School Referendum
The 2,056 total votes represent approximately one-third of the eligible voters in School District 876.

Voters in the Annandale School narrowly voted down a one-question ballot on a proposed $81.55 million school bond referendum Tuesday which proposed to build a new high school for grades 9-12, renovating the existing high school from grades 5-8 and adding space to serve early childhood and community education at the existing elementary school.

The numbers remain unofficial until verified by Wright County Elections later today, but Annandale election officials said there were 989 “yes” votes and 1,067 “no” votes. The 2,056 total votes represent approximately one-third of the eligible voters in School District 876.
