Wright County Residents Facing Financial Difficulties Can Apply For Emergency Assistance

Wright County Health & Human Services wants residents who are facing severe financial difficulties to be aware that they may be eligible to apply for emergency assistance.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been record numbers of people who were or are unemployed or underemployed. In many cases, this has caused them to fall behind on rent or mortgage payments, having utilities disconnected and struggling just to meet their basic needs. Many may be eligible for emergency assistance.

There are three ways to apply for emergency assistance – apply online at www.applymn.dhs.mn.gov/, complete a paper Combined Application Form or apply over the phone by calling Wright County Health & Human Services at (763) 682-7414.
