Teenage Victim Identified In Fatal Woodbury Crash
The teen who died after being ejected from the car has been identified. Three other teens from the crash were brought to the hospital.

WOODBURY, MN— One person died after the car they were riding in crashed into a tree late Saturday night, a representative from the Woodbury Police Department said.
The 2015 Honda Accord was split in half after hitting the tree shortly after 11 p.m. on Settler's Ridge Parkway near Sundance Lane, officials said.
Garrett Bumgarner, 17, was ejected from the car and died at the scene, John Altman, commander of the Woodbury Police Department, said.

There were four other teenagers in the car who were rescued by first responders, three of whom are being treated in a hospital, Altman said.
Carson Clausen, a junior at Eastridge High School, told Patch that at least four of the teens attend Eastridge High School.

Clausen also started a GoFundMe, with the proceeds being divided between the families of the five teens involved in the crash.
One person was taken to Regions Hospital and another was taken to Woodwinds, but their conditions are unknown at this time, officials said.
Officers are working on identifying those involved in the crash and notifying families, officials said.
The cause of the crash is still unknown, and Minnesota State Patrol is conducting a crash reconstruction to identify possible causes, officials said.
Altman said the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will provide additional details on Bumgarner when available.
