2 Children Hospitalized After Being Chased In Street By Woman
The two children were taken to Regions Hospital, where one has moderate injuries and the other is in critical condition.
WOODBURY, MN— A woman was taken into custody early Wednesday morning after police got a call about her chasing a child, the Woodbury Public Safety Department said.
The woman is 32 and a Woodbury resident, officials said.
Officers were sent to Lake View Alcove at 12:46 a.m. after receiving a call from somebody saying a neighbor child was being chased, officials said. Dispatchers received multiple calls about this incident and heard screaming in the background, officials said.

When officers arrived, the child, 6, was with the 911 caller with minor to moderate injuries, officials said. A second child, between 4 and 6 years old, was found lying in the street, unresponsive, officials said.
The two children were taken to Regions Hospital, where one has moderate injuries and the other is in critical condition, officials said.

After taking a woman into custody, officials say that no other suspects are being looked for and there is no further threat to the public, officials said.
Officials said the woman is expected to be formally charged by Thursday morning.
