2 Stolen Cars In Woodbury Yet To Be Recovered

Despite the cars remaining unrecovered, Violet the missing dog who was in one of the cars was found safe in St. Paul and returned home.

WOODBURY, MN — Two cars stolen in Woodbury in Sunday are yet to be recovered.

A dog was inside one of the stolen cars. That car was a black Lexus SUV that was stolen outside Walgreens on Queens Drive. The dog, a labradoodle named Violet, was found Monday tied up in St.Paul and returned to her family.

The other stolen car was a Gold Durango.

Both vehicles are yet to be recovered, Woodbury police commander John Altman told Patch Friday. He added that officers are still hopeful the vehicles will turn up.

In many cases car thieves switch cars every couple of days, according to Altman.

The group of four suspects was also seen using a black Tahoe and a black Volvo.
