Alamo Drafthouse To Open First Midwest Location in Woodbury
The luxury cinema will continue its famous and strict "no talking or texting" rule during films.

WOODBURY, MN — Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will lift the curtain on its first-ever Midwest location in Woodbury July 22.
The entertainment center features nine auditoriums ranging in size from 47 to 232 seats and offers recliner seating for 944 moviegoers in total.
"The Twin Cities is an incredible opportunity for the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema brand, and we are looking forward to shining the spotlight on the Twin Cities’ thriving community of Woodbury starting on July 22nd," Tim Holly, creative manager, said in a statement.

"From regionally-inspired food and beverage options like cheese curds and our Minnesota-centric tap list, to local partnerships with Twin Cities favorites, like Sebastian Joe’s Ice Cream and Bootstrap Coffee Roasters, our guests will be treated to the ultimate, local cinematic dining experience."

Visitors can enjoy the Alamo Drafthouse’s scratch-made menu and 32 taps of local craft beer at the location's full service restaurant and bar, the Vetted Well, which are brought right to your seat in the theater.
Alamo Drafthouse in Woodbury will continue its famous and strict "no talking or texting" rule during films. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy curated pre-show entertainment.
Instead of a "barrage of advertising," Alamo Drafthouse presents a pre-show of clips specifically tailored to the feature film.
