Amidst Heat Wave, Woodbury Urges Community To Limit Water Usage

If water usage reaches 93 percent, additional watering restrictions will be implemented.

WOODBURY, MN — In light of the recent heat wave in the Twin Cities, Woodbury urged its residents and businesses to practice water conservation.

The city released a statement reminding residents of its odd/even watering restriction schedule, in which homes or businesses addresses ending in an odd number may water their lawns on odd-numbered calendar days each month and addresses ending in an even number may water on even-numbered days of the month.

Watering lawns between 12-5 p.m. is prohibited regardless of what day it is, the city said. Violators, including first-time offenders, will receive an administrative citation, the city said.
