The store said Mullen lost both his legs below the knee when he stepped on a pressure plate IED in Afghanistan in 2011 during a foot patrol, as well as shattering his right arm which left him with only partial usage of his right hand.
Furniture Mart USA, parent store of Ashley Homestore in Woodbury, provided furniture and design assistance throughout the home, the store said.

This project is through the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which has provided hundreds of mortgage free homes to families of fallen first responders and military throughout the U.S., the store said.
The foundation reached out to Jacquart, who was happy to help, the store said.
“At the heart of what we do is a strong sense of service and philanthropy,” Jacquart said. “This project provided our entire team with an opportunity to share our time, talent and resources to help turn this house into a new home for a remarkable hero and his young family. We were honored to show our appreciation in this way.”
