Carver Lake Park In City Of Woodbury Is Now Open
The park closure was necessary to ensure the safety of park users and construction workers.

As of Nov. 9, Carver Lake Park has reopened to all users.The park was closed to allow for replacement of retaining walls, parking lots and modifications to the entrance of the park. The park closure was necessary to ensure the safety of park users and construction workers. Thank you for your cooperation during this important project.

As part of the project, the small parking lot at the top of the hill near the bike park playground was expanded to 15 parking spaces. In addition, larger parking stalls were added for vehicles with recreational equipment such as kayaks, canoes and bicycles. A stormwater catch basin near the entrance to the large parking also was constructed to better manage stormwater flow from the top of the hill. The city received a grant from the Ramsey-Washington Metro Wastershed District for this portion of the project.
Please note: In the concept plan below, a picnic shelter is featured. This is not included in this improvement project, but will be including in a future project.
