European Ryder Cup Player Justin Rose: Hazeltine 'Incredibly Weak'

The 41st Ryder Cup concluded Sunday, after a three-day run at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.
For the first time in eight years, the United States Ryder Cup team defeated the Europeans, beating them in decisive 17-11 victory.
Hazeltine was widely praised as a great venue for the 2016 Ryder Cup, but one European player wasn't so pleased.

European Ryder Cup player and Olympic champion Justin Rose blasted the way Hazeltine was set up, calling it "incredibly weak."
Rose, who's played the course before, said Hazeltine "can be as tough as you want it to be."

"The pin on 17 is an absolute joke," Rose said.
"It’s a 9-iron into the middle of the green and you stiff it. So with a match on the line, you kind of feel like you want a player to step up a little bit more than they have to."
