Fundraisers Started For Victims Of Fatal Woodbury Crash

One teenager died after being ejected from the car and three others are in the hospital in serious condition.

WOODBURY, MN— Two GoFundMe's have been started in support of the five teenage victims of a car crash that occurred late Saturday night.

Garrett Bumgarner, 17, was ejected from the car and died at the scene, officials said.

Three of the other teenagers in the car were taken to nearby hospitals and remain in serious condition, officials said.

Cara Dietert created a GoFundMe to benefit Bumgarner's family. The description of the fundraiser said the proceeds will go toward funeral expenses and financial support for the family. This fundraiser has raised nearly $15,000 so far.

Carson Clausen, a junior at Eastridge High School(the school the victims attend) started a GoFundMe for the victims as well. The proceeds will be split evenly between the five families to be used for Bumgarner's funeral expenses, and hospital bills for the survivors. This fundraiser has raised nearly $12,000 so far.
