Globe University Campus Sells For $11.4M: Report

Globe University was ordered by state officials to close after courts found that the school's marketing strategies were fraudulent.

WOODBURY, MN — The Globe University campus in Woodbury was sold May 26 for $11.4 million, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported.

The buyer of the campus was a nonprofit that supports Woodbury Leadership Academy, called Friends of WLA, the publication reported.

Globe University was ordered by state officials to close after courts found that the school's marketing strategies were fraudulent and the school declared bankruptcy, the publication reported.
