Here's How Many Washington County Residents Have Been Vaccinated

In Minnesota overall, about 67 percent state residents aged 12 and older have received at least one dose.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — A total of 147,235 residents— or 68 percent of the residents aged 12 and older in the county— have received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest numbers from the Minnesota Department of Health.

Of those, 129,959 residents — or 60 percent of residents aged 12 and older — have received both doses.

In Minnesota overall, 2.9 million people, or about 67 percent state residents aged 12 and older, have received at least one dose.

About 2.6 million people, or 46 percent of state residents aged 12 and older, have received both doses.

Overall, the state has been averaging giving about 11,507 shots per day on average, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

In all, over 4.5 million vaccines have been shipped to Minnesota providers, and 1.5 million vaccines have been shipped to long-term care facilities for the CDC long-term care vaccination program.

Governor Tim Walz recently released incentives for those who get the vaccine between May 27 and June 30.
