The MDE 4-Year Graduation Rate is calculated by taking the number of students who graduated high school within four years of grade nine and using that number to find the percentage of all students who either graduated, dropped out, are continuing school or have an unknown outcome, the school district said.

"Last school year ended in uncertainty for many students as represented in the graduation data for several student groups," the school district said. "SoWashCo Schools continues to evaluate how best to respond to the challenges created by the pandemic, as well as opportunities to reimagine how best to serve students."
