We asked Patch readers in more than 1,000 communities to tell us what their moms mean to them. Nearly 200 people responded, paying tribute not just to moms but sometimes to grandmas, sisters and daughters who deserve recognition for Mother’s Day 2021.

Dear Mom, thank you for everything you do for me and my family. You are a pillar to our family. I am proud to be your daughter. And while I am not going to be home this year to celebrate Mother's Day, and I send you lots of love and thanks. I would not be the woman I am today without your help and guidance over the past years. Being a mom is never easy but you did great and have raised 6 amazing kids who love you. Thank.you for being a role model and someone who cares for my kids as well. Love you so much. Happy Mothers Day
