Massive I-94 Project In Woodbury, Oakdale Announced

A headache-inducing interchange in the east metro will see major upgrades.

WOODBURY, MN — A newly-released $28.5 million project will seek to alleviate the ever-congested interchange of Interstates 94 and 494-694 in the east metro. Construction will begin in 2019 and last through fall of 2020.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be repairing and surfacing concrete pavement, replacing bridges, replacing all the interchange loops, and reconfiguring ramps to eastbound I-94.
