Missing 9-Year-Old Drowned In Carver Lake: Police
The boy was found pulseless and not breathing after officials searched the lake for 15 minutes.
WOODBURY, MN — A 9-year old boy who had previously been reported missing drowned at Carver Lake Beach, the Woodbury Police Department said.
At 6:10 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a report of a missing child at Carver Lake Park Beach, which does not have a lifeguard, police said. The 9-year-old had been missing for an extended amount of time and was last seen walking from the water to nearby picnic tables, police said.
Officers coordinated a search of the lake and the surrounding grounds, police said. After 15 minutes, an officer found the boy pulseless and not breathing in the lake, police said.

First responders began CPR and the boy was transported to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
