NWS Issues Winter Weather Advisory For Washington County
Here's what to expect from the snowstorm set to hit our area Saturday afternoon.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — Up to 6 inches of snow could fall in Washington County by Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS Friday issued a winter weather advisory for the county and the rest of the Twin Cities metro area.
Some parts of the metro may see even more than 6 inches of snow:

Saturday: Snow, mainly after 1pm. High near 22. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Saturday Night: Snow, mainly before 2am. The snow could be heavy at times. Steady temperature around 18. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light south southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 23. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 4. North northeast wind around 5 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 21. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 5. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
