Open House For I-94 East Metro Project Scheduled

The project includes replacing the interchange loops and the two interchange bridges and adding a southbound auxiliary lane.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — The public is invited to attend the last of two open houses this construction season to learn about the construction project on the I-94/I-494/I-694 East Metro Interchange in Washington County.

The open house will be held at the following time and location:

  • Tuesday, April 30th 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
    • Oakdale City Hall, Council Chambers (1584 Hadley Avenue N Oakdale)

Open house attendees will find out about project staging, traffic impacts and detours. MnDOT and city staff will be on hand to answer questions. There will not be a formal presentation.

The project work includes repairing and resurfacing pavement, replacing the interchange loops and the two interchange bridges and adding a southbound auxiliary lane. Construction will begin this spring and continue through fall 2020. The work will improve pavement and bridge condition, and enhance safety and traffic flow within the interchange.
