These Minnesota Newspapers Have Gone Out Of Business: List

A number of long-time Minnesota publications have been forced to close their doors in the past two years.

MINNESOTA — The past two years haven't been easy for small town and niche newspapers in Minnesota. More than a dozen publications have been forced to end production due to declining ad revenue and subscribers.

Notably, the Warroad Pioneer ceased publication after 121 years of operation in the small northern Minnesota town.

In the Twin Cities, the east metro papers have been hit particularly hard.
