Volunteers Needed At Woodbury Days 2017

Woodbury Days is right around the corner. The event counts on volunteers every year, so give back to the community by lending a hand.

WOODBURY, MN — The annual Woodbury Days celebration is right around the corner. The event counts on volunteers every year, so give back to the community by lending a hand.

Woodbury Days 2017 is scheduled for Aug. 25-27at Ojibway Park. The Woodbury Days Council is looking for volunteers ages 15 and older to help with greeting guests, providing help to vendors, assisting with the Grande Parade and answering questions at the Information Booth.

Individuals, families and groups are welcome to come out and help for the annual community event. Plus, all volunteers received a package with gift certificates and goodies from local businesses.

Fundraising opportunities for non-profit organizations

If you are part of a non-profit organization and want to have some fun while raising money for your organization, Woodbury Days has the answer for you.

The Woodbury Days Council is currently accepting applications for the opportunity to raise money by running button stands or pop stands at Woodbury Days. Eligible organizations must have some affiliation with the community of Woodbury and provide proof of non-profit status to apply.

It is recommended that you apply for both opportunities in hopes of being chosen for one or the other. If interested, request an application by sending an email to info@woodburydays.com by July 15. All requirements and details will be included in the applications.
