Washington County Guided Bird Hikes To Continue In May

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN— Guided bird hikes in Washington County will continue May 8, the county said.

The program is free with a parks vehicle permit, which costs $7/day or $30 annually, the county said.

Participants can register for a guided bird hike here by searching “guided bird hikes," the county said.

The hikes will occur 9-10:30 a.m. at the following dates and locations:

• May 8, at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park
• June 12 at Lake Elmo Park Reserve
• July 10 at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park
• Aug. 14 at Pine Point Regional Park
• Sept. 11 at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park
• Oct. 9 at Big Marine Park Reserve
• Nov. 13 at Pine Point Regional Park
• Dec. 11 at Lake Elmo Park Reserve

Hikers should meet at the trailhead kiosk and dress for the weather, the county said.
