Woodbury Caddy Awarded Scholarship for $120k: Report

The scholarship was awarded by the Chick Evans Scholarship Program, which is only open to golf caddies.

WOODBURY, MN— A golf caddy in Woodbury was awarded a $120,000 scholarship from the Chick Evans Scholarship program, a program only open to caddies, The Pioneer Press reported.

Kaia Heltne, a senior at East Ridge High School, was one of five seniors in Minnesota to receive the scholarship, The Pioneer Press reported.

The $120,000 will cover four years of housing and tuition at the University of Minnesota, The Pioneer Press reported.
