Woodbury Man Voted VP Of National Association Of County Engineers
He has been county engineer for Washington County since 2011.
WOODBURY, MN— A Woodbury resident was recently elected North-Central Region Vice President of the National Association of County Engineers, the association said.
The county engineer for Washington County, Wayne Sandberg's term will run until April 2023, the association said.
NACE represents over 3,000 county road officials throughout the U.S. and Canada, the association said.

Sandberg has been county engineer in Washington County since 2011, the association said.
"It is an honor and privilege to serve the nation’s county road professionals this year,"
Sandberg said. "I look forward to joining with our local, state and national partners in ensuring sound federal policy that reflects the importance of our county transportation infrastructure. With
counties owning more roads and bridges than any other government entity, these roads are the
primary economic driver of our nation and will be vital to its economic recovery from the current
health crisis."
