Woodbury Proposes New Fee To Help Pay For Parks: Report

The fee would raise the monthly utility bill for both Woodbury residents and businesses.

WOODBURY, MN— The city of Woodbury has proposed a new utility franchise fee to help pay for the city's park, Pioneer Press reported.

The fee would raise the monthly utility bill for residents by $5, and would raise bills $13.50 for businesses, the publication reported.

The fees would help maintain the parks and their buildings, field, playgrounds, irrigation systems, parking lots, and trails, the publication reported.
