Woodbury Girl, 15, Has Amazing Finish At TC Marathon
Step Aside Flash, Tierny Wolfgram has places to go!

WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury resident Tierney Wolfgram may have been one of the youngest runners in the 2018 Twin Cities marathon, but that didn't stop her from placing among the top finishers. The 15-year-old Math & Science Academy sophomore placed sixth among the elite women's field Sunday.
It was her first marathon ever, the Star Tribune reported. "I just wanted to have fun," she told the newspaper. "I couldn’t pass up this opportunity."
She finished with a time of 2 hours, 40 minutes, and 3 seconds. Wolfgram is a two-time Class 1A cross-country champion.
