The First Bancshares Reports $4.7M In 3Q

HATTIESBURG, MS — The First Bancshares Inc. reported third-quarter earnings of $4.7 million on Tuesday.

The bank, based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, said it had earnings of 51 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $20.4 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $18.6 million.

The First Bancshares shares have increased 11 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $30.60, a rise of 42 percent in the last 12 months.
