Sodexo Dining Services supports students during finals week
Sodexo Dining Services across Louisiana and Mississippi is supporting students with a Mindful Finals Fueling event
Finals week is an incredibly stressful time for students. On top of cramming, their daily schedules are non-existent. Whether it is skipping breakfast, pulling an all-nighter, or living on granola bars, students need support during this time.
Sodexo Dining Services across Louisiana and Mississippi is supporting students with a Mindful Finals Fueling event, based on the award-winning Mindful program. The concept focuses on transparency of ingredients, delicious food, satisfying portions and clarity in message so that making Mindful choices becomes second nature.
“We’re providing Mindful snacks, study break ideas, positive affirmations, and a study playlist,” said Kelsey Rosenbaum, MS, RD, LDN, Sodexo Regional Campus Dietitian. “This Mindful Finals Fueling Event provides students with motivation, resources, and most importantly fuel to nourish their brains.”

“Dining Services is an essential part of the college experience,” said Rosenbaum. “We're here to nourish and care for students and this event was created to do just that: support students during an incredibly stressful week.”

According to University Marketing Coordinator Rhonisha Ridgeway, the Mindful Motivation event was a fantastic turnout.
“I enjoyed providing students with resources and tips on managing finals, especially after the year they've had. It was a great way to show students their mental health matters to us," said Ridgeway.
