Teen Wouldn't Share Video Game Controller; Brother, 9, Killed Her
Dijonae White, 14, died from her injuries at a hospital following the shooting on Saturday afternoon.

MONROE COUNTY, MS — A 9-year-old Mississippi boy shot and killed his teen sister during an argument over a video game controller and now investigators want to know how he was able to get his hands on the weapon.
Dijonae White died from her injuries at a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, following the shooting on Saturday afternoon, coroner Alan Gurley told WCBI-TV. The 14-year-old had been shot in the back of the head because she refused to give the controller to her younger brother, Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell told media outlets.
"He’s just 9. I assume he’s seen this on video games or TV," Cantrell said, according to USA Today. "I don't know if he knew exactly what this would do. I can’t answer that. I do know it’s a tragedy."
