Jackson Police Find Toddler Unhurt After He Was Taken In Car
Sharon Knight told police that a 17-year-old sped off in her car with her 3-year-old son, King Knight.

JACKSON, MS — A toddler was found unhurt in Mississippi after being taken with a car by a teenager.
Sharon Knight told police that a 17-year-old she identified as Mike sped off in her 2000 gray Chevrolet Impala with her 3-year-old son, King Knight. A search began around noon on Monday. Sharon Knight told media outlets she left the boys in the car while visiting a possible home to rent.
Jackson police found the car at an apartment complex about 3 miles away. The boy walked away from the car with the child. Police detained him for questioning and retrieved the toddler soon afterward. The teen hasn't been charged.

Sharon Knight says the teenager, whom she called a family friend, had lived with her for two weeks.
Subjects questioned/released regarding missing 3 yr old and auto theft. The 17 yo male identified as "Mike" is not in custody at this time.
