5 Fun and Thrifty Things for the Weekend

Here are five fun and thrifty things for the weekend. How's your British accent?

1. Thursday and Friday, if you order your snow cone at A Big Chill with a British accent you get a 25-cent discount. It’s in celebration of the new royal baby. It’s at 8001 MacKenzie Road. 
   
2. On Friday, have a blast at Family Fun Night at Rogers Middle School, 6:30 – 8:30. There will be music, games and fun for all ages. Proceeds will benefit the Affton Christian Food Pantry. 
3. Find gently used clothes, toys, and more at Just Between Friends consignment sale, in Fenton. It’s Friday through Sunday.
4. See "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" on Monday at the Weber Road Branch of the St. Louis County Library.
5. Scoops of Fun is Saturday, from 6-9 p.m. at the Magic House Children's Museum. Scoops of Fun offers families the opportunity to explore all of the wonders of the Magic House, topped off with a full ice cream sundae bar.
