Affton Board Of Education To Vote On 2020 Tax Rates Sept. 29
This year's proposed rate is $5.4094 per $100 assessed valuation.

The Affton School District Board of Education will vote on the 2020 blended tax rate at 7 p.m. next Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, during the annual scheduled tax rate hearing. This year’s proposed rate is $5.4094 per $100 assessed valuation, remaining consistent with the 2019 rate, which was $5.4091, and maintaining a voluntary tax rollback of 35-cents first introduced in 2017.

The public hearing will be conducted in person at Affton Early Childhood (9832 Reavis Road, 63123). District residents who wish to make a public comment regarding the tax rate can complete this form no later than 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020. Public comments will be read live during the meeting prior to the board vote.
