Affton Community Donates 116 Boxes of Food For Area Families
Operation Food Search collected the food at two area Schnucks.
The Affton Christian Food Pantry (ACFP) reported in a Patch blog that the community came out strong on Saturday for area families in need.
In the Operation Food Search's "Saturday Jubilee," the ACFP staffed Schnucks stores in Affton and at Hampton and Gravois.
“The response from our community was humbling and inspiring!” the blog states. “In eight hours, thousands of customers and staff at both stores donated enough food to fill 116 boxes.”
