Affton St. Louis County Police Remembers Fallen Officers
St. Louis County Police remembered their own in a breakfast on Friday.
May 15 is Peace Officers Memorial Day, nationally. St. Louis County police officers remembered their fallen at a breakfast on May 10.
After the county's ceremony, a group from the department went to the National Police Week services in Washington, D.C. A group of eight went from St. Louis County this year.
Sergeant Richard Weinhold was the most recent St. Louis County officer to fall in the line of duty, in 2000.

Weinhold was ambushed, reponding to a responding to a disturbance in the 1900 block of Chambers Road.
