Affton 7-Eleven to Close Next Friday

Next Friday, June 28, is the last day the 7-Eleven at the corner of Gravois Road and Tesson Ferry will be open.

“They’re boarding it up and pulling the tanks,” store manager Connie Grove said on Friday. She said they’ve known it was happening for a month.

The cashier said, “it’s dead all the time,” when asked the reason.

Signs on the door announce a 50 percent cut on selected items, but Grove said many items are 90 percent off. “Most things will be 50 cents or a quarter,” she said.

Both Grove and the cashier working there Friday will be transferred to another 7-Eleven, but they didn’t know where.
