Car Taken from Mackenzie Pointe Lot Recovered at Shop n Save, Police Say
Also, a debit card was stolen, and a roommate is suspected.

Friday, June 7
- At 7:52 p.m. police investigated the theft of a 1995 Ford Taurus from the 7200 block of Watson Road. The victim had parked his car when he arrived at work at 1:15 p.m. When he finished work he could not find his car on the Mackenzie Pointe parking lot. St. Louis City Police recovered it at 7057 Watson Road on June 7, at 8:40 p.m, when Shop N Save security notified them about an unoccupied vehicle with the engine running on the parking lot. There was damage to the driver side door lock and the ignition column.

- A man from Creve Coeur was arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated after police discovered him slumped over the steering wheel at 3 a.m. at Murdoch Avenue and Laclede Station Road. Police located a bottle of vodka in the car and issued a citation to the man for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
- At 6 p.m. police responded to Dierbergs, 7233 Watson Rd. and arrested a man from north St. Louis County for having an outstanding warrant for passing a felony bad check in another venue and trying to steal milk, bacon and eggs from the grocery store. The items were actually stolen from the South County Dierbergs and the suspect tried to return the stolen property to the Shrewsbury store for cash without a receipt. The suspect was issued a citation to appear in municipal court.
Sunday, June 9
- A woman from south St. Louis City was arrested for driving on a revoked license and driving while intoxicated at 3 a.m. in the 4500 block of Shrewsbury Ave.

- At 3 p.m. a resident from the 7300 block of Lansdowne Avenue reported his debit card used fraudulently. There were fraudulent transactions of airtime for a mobile phone ($50) and a food purchase at a Sonic ($6) and an overdraft charge of $35. The owner of the card suspects a roommate used the card without his permission. Police are continuing to investigate.
Tuesday, June 11
- Between June 10 after 2 p.m. and June 11 at 9 a.m., someone spray painted graffiti on the railroad overpass of Shrewsbury Avenue and Carr Lane Court.
