Chris Marks' Sister: Todd Combs Deserves to be Put Away for Good, Petitions for Harsher Penalties

In early July, Todd Combs was sentenced to a year in jail for pleading guilty to seven counts of child endangerment. Christopher Marks, 12 at the time, drowned in the Meramec River after Combs had supplied alcohol to Marks and other minors on August 5, 2012.

Chris Marks’ sister, Katie Marks, said Combs’ sentence wasn’t harsh enough, and has posted an online petition to make her point to Missouri State lawmakers.

“This man deserves to be put away for good. He is a criminal and Christopher did not get justice!!” she states in the petition.
