Dick's Sporting Goods Coming to South County Center

Dick's Sporting Goods is coming to South County Center.

There have been weeks of speculation that mega-sporting goods store was going to set up shop at the mall. However, Patch had been unable to verify the information with Dick's or South County Center.

Patch reader Justin Stafford contacted us on Wednesday saying the spot that the yearly carnival normally occupies had been fenced off and ground has been moved. He was wondering what was going on. Thursday night, Stafford submitted the attached photo.

Representatives from Dick's and South County Center on Friday were unable to discuss the specifics of the new store, but say more information will be available soon.

This will be Dick's fourth location in St. Louis. The company's other stores are at West County Center in Des Peres, at Chesterfield Commons in Chesterfield and at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peter's.
