Incumbents Are Only Candidates To File For Affton Board Of Education

Two Affton citizens have filed their candidacy for two positions on the Affton Board of Education. They are Affton Board of Education incumbents: Michelle Burford and Kenneth Edgar III.

Under the provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is the same as the number of positions to be filled by the election (two), there will be no election. Since this is the case, at the April organizational meeting of the Board of Education, the district will swear in these candidates.

Burford and Edgar will each serve three-year terms.
