New Parade Route, Location For Affton Community Days

This year's Affton Community Days, set for Saturday, Sept. 21, has a new parade route and festival location.

The festival will be held on the grounds of St. Dominic Savio, 7748 Mackenzie Road. The church is sponsoring the event along with the Affton Chamber of Commerce.  This year's theme is "Affton Community Days is Out of This World."

The parade begins at 10 a.m., at Affton High School. The route will then head south on Mackenzie Road, east on Gravois Road, west on Weber Road, then north on Mackenzie Road to St. Dominic Savio. Click here to view the route.

The festival will begin at 11 a.m. It ends at 9 p.m. It will feature four inflatable rides, a mechanical bull, a climbing wall, a dunking booth and other activities. There will also be live entertainment.
