Grade/Position: High School Social Studies 

Welcome to Affton! Tell us about your new job. What will you be doing?

I will be teaching high school social studies consisting of the subjects American History, AP/1818 American Government and Psychology.

Where did you come from? What background are you bringing to our schools? 

I taught 3 years at Normandy High School, 1 year at Imagine College Prep High School and 1 year at Construction Careers Center High School. I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, masters of art in political science and teaching certificate in high school social studies.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?

I am looking forward to developing positive relationships with students, parents, fellow teachers and administrators. I also am looking forward to performing my job at the highest degree.

Tell us about your family. Who supports you?

I have 4 adult children, Matthew (24), Amanda (22), Michael (21), and Maclolm (19). I also have a great extended family network. Additionally, I am an active member of Church on the Rock.
