Shrewsbury Boy Scout Seeks Support for Eagle Scout Project

Colin Hoock is a 14-year-old Boy Scout with Troop 335 at Mary, Queen of Peace, and he wants to build something that will endure.

Hoock is working toward his Eagle Scout badge. Each Eagle candidate performs a community project, and Hoock plans to build a wall commemorating Shrewbury’s 100th anniversary.

“To commemorate this, I will be building a wall, 10 feet long and four feet high, in front of the three flag poles on the triangle of property between Laclede Station, Murdoch, and Wilshusen Ave. It will say, Shrewsbury, It’s home!”
