Spring Caution!
When you go to your outdoor tool shed or garage, be careful or you could have an experience like me. I picked up a grill in a brown paper bag that had been sitting in my tool shed and when I did this, discovered to my surprise that I also picked up a snake!
Of course it was nonpoisonous, or I would be too busy at the moment to post this! It was a common Garter snake. I believe it is a mate to ‘Jake’ the snake so I call it ‘Jane’. Already saw the two entwined on my lawn this spring. Probably means I will have a small nest of snakes in my shed this summer. Just like I did last summer.
