Steve Stenger to Challenge Charlie Dooley for County Executive Post
Stenger plans to make it official Tuesday afternoon in Clayton.
St. Louis County Councilman Steve Stenger (District 6) will challenge Charlie Dooley for the executive seat in the 2014 August Democratic primary, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reported on Monday.
Stenger is scheduled to make the announcement at press conference Tuesday afternoon in Clayton.
Labor leaders and other county officials who have broken with Dooley are scheduled to join Stenger when he makes the announcement.
