Syberg's, County Meeting Ends Positively

Syberg's had been frustrated about progress on a planned expansion.

This summer representatives of Syberg’s met with the Affton Community Involvement Association (ACIA) to express their frustration over what they saw as St. Louis County dragging its heels regarding planned improvements at the restaurant.

The meeting led to 6th County Council District Councilman Steve Stenger asking a county code enforcement manager to look into the request, and now there seems to be progress.

In an email on Wednesday that Patch was copied on, Linda Henry, administrative assistant to Stenger, said that a meeting between members and representatives of the Syberg family and several county departments ended on a positive note.
