Police: Three Arrested After Beating Cars with Sticks

A 4 a.m. fight at a Shrewsbury home grew so loud that neighbors called the police to report that shots were being fired, said.

No shots were fired during the August 19 fight, but a group’s verbal disagreement lead to two vehicles being damaged with a stick and a bat. Police arrested three people—a man and two women—on suspicion of various charges, including second-degree assault and property damage, in the 7700 block of Ravensridge Road.

Formal charges are pending a review by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.
