TRAFFIC ALERTS IN OUR AREA – March 20, 2014, from MoDOT

JEFFERSON BARRACKS BRIDGE

This weekend, 3/21-3/24, and again the following weekend, 3/28-3/30, MoDOT will be performing bridge maintenance on the eastbound direction. From Friday night at 7 pm to Monday at 5 am only one eastbound lane will be open.  They advise anyone travelling eastbound I-255 across the JB Bridge to use an alternate route such as northbound I-55 to the Poplar Street Bridge to access Illinois.

POT HOLES

MoDOT reminds residents that if they see a pot hole on State roads, (Gravois, Watson, Lemay Ferry, Tesson Ferry, Lindbergh, Telegraph or Mackenzie Road from Gravois to Watson) to call 314-275-1500 and report the location and they will repair it.

WATSON ROAD

MoDOT will be replacing the driving surface on MO 366 from Geyer to Grant so work will begin in the next month (April) or so....weather permitting and continue through the Summer 2014.  Included in the contract is upgrades to the sidewalk curb ramps at intersections to bring them into compliance and meet current ADA standards.

GRAVOIS RESURFACING

Gravois Road from the City Limits to Jefferson County will be resurfaced in 2015-2016 fiscal year.
