Woman Shot On Shrewsbury Playground: Police

SHREWSBURY, MO — Police say a woman was shot on a playground at a Shrewsbury apartment complex Monday morning.

KMOV reports she was playing with her child on the playground at an apartment complex on Laclede Station Road. Police responded to her 9-1-1 call just before noon. When officers arrived, the woman was standing and conscious. The extent of her injuries aren't clear, but police said she is expected to survive.
